Tim Swanson

Tim Swanson is the Director of Research and Development for ICM Inc., the premier design and engineering firm for ethanol processing facilities worldwide. He has over 25 years of experience in the starch processing industry including roles as
HFCS Operations Manager, Worldwide Technical Service Manager, Quality Control Manager, and Product Development Manager for companies such as The Dow Chemical Company, Novozymes, and Minnesota Corn Processors.

Swanson has patents on raw materials currently being used in the industry and has published articles for both the sweetener and fuel ethanol industries. His combination of end-user and supplier experience gives him a unique perspective in these industries. He is a graduate of Florida State University in Chemistry and Geology.
