Sally Metz
Sally Metz, the Technical Lead for Corn Ethanol, has spent much of her career with Monsanto Company in St. Louis, Missouri. Prior to her current position, she has worked in research and development of many new products developed utilizing techniques in plant breeding, plant biotechnology, and chemistry. Metz has also worked in crop hybridization in canola and wheat and glyphosate tolerance in canola, soybean, alfalfa and wheat. Her assignments throughout her career have taken her to South America, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Russia, Canada, and Mexico.
Metz grew up as a Montana rancher and attended Montana State University. She obtained a graduate degree in Plant Pathology.
