William gong
William Gong is currently serves as a research associate and topic leader in PTA R&T at BP America. He has been with the company since 1990.
Gong's research areas include catalytic oxidation, reaction mechanisms, organic synthesis of aromatic carboxylic acids, and new refining technologies. During the conference, he will be speaking about moving biorenewables into the mainstream.
Prior to joining BP America, Gong earned his Ph.D. from Iowa State University in Organic Chemistry. He also has a B.S. degree from Illinois State University.
