Mark Downing
Mark Downing is Research Scientist in the Environmental Sciences Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and Adjunct Associate Professor of Agricultural Economics at University of Tennessee.
He currently is working on non-market and natural resource valuation and benefits transfer research and application. He also serves as a technical monitor and science advisor to the U.S. Department of Energy's Biomass Power for Rural Development Projects in Iowa and New York.
At Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Downing served as the lead of the steering committee for the U.S. Department of Energy's 2004 Future Car Congress. He is a member of the FreedomCAR Partnership Team between the U.S. Department of Energy and the U.S. Council for Automotive Research.
