Paul Bloom
Paul D. Bloom is the manager of new industrial chemicals at Archer Daniels Midland Company.
Since joining ADM in 2001, Bloom's primary focus has been the synthesis and development of renewable resource-based chemicals for industrial uses. His areas of research include catalytic hydrogenation, transesterification, polymerization, oxidations, and formulation development. He previously worked at the Valspar Corporation developing consumer latex paints and coatings.
Bloom holds a B.S. degree in Chemistry from Illinois State University and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Iowa State University.
